Your search for a relaxing weekend or week stay ends right here. The Lost Lodge Resort is in a unique area of Lake Cumberland where you can cook your food on site and picnic on the water! Bring your own boat - the 3 docks are for boats, relaxing, swimming or fishing.
There is a hill to the lake, you can use the stairs or ride in the open air elevator, known as the Hill-O-Vator! In addition to our 16 Lake Cumberland cabins (each uniquely decorated), our resort also has 4 full service RV sites (up to 32′).
Cozy 400 square foot Cabin 1 has a romantic campfire pit and sits quietly in a wooded area. Watching the evening twilight from the front porch is magical.
With resort amenities like a private boat dock, boat parking on site, playground, outdoor kitchen, Wi-Fi on grounds, 2 greenhouses, and amazing landscaping with lush tropical plants not typically found in Kentucky -you might end up staying at the resort and on Lake Cumberland the entire time.
Our unique location in all the beauty of the Daniel Boone National Forest is a bonus for guests. If you like extreme hiking and rock climbing, some of the most rugged terrain west of the Appalachian Mountains is found here. You can spend days hiking and biking different trails in a forest that contains Cumberland Falls and three large lakes including Lake Cumberland.
Launch your boat at the ramps within a couple of miles of Lost Lodge Cabin 1 and keep it on the water all week!

Great Place to stay for a weekend on the lake. Very nice people and hospitality. Tyler Rosenhagen
We had a whole group of people stay here for my daughter's wedding. They all loved it. Found the wooded setting relaxing and felt like they were way out in the woods while really it is only 1 minute to fine dining & a liquor store. Judy Wilson Hatterman
Great accommodations, easy access to the dock, and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for a getaway! Emilie Shapero
Another great weekend!! Thank you!! Lindsey Schlechtinger
For many years, I've been staying at Lost Lodge and there is a good reason for that. Very clean! It feels like home, not a shoebox hotel. It's as cheap (or cheaper) than staying at a hotel. BONFIRES! Fully equipped kitchens. Grills ready to use. Expandable depending on my party size. (Sometimes a 1 bedroom cabin works and sometimes I need 5 2 bedroom cabins!) Much more, but truly at the end of the day, I love supporting the owners of Lost Lodge, Dona and Mike, with all the hard work they do for others so we can enjoy our trips to the max Robb Spratt
Exactly what we were looking for and what we expected. Cute, rustic cabin in a quiet woodsy setting. Kids enjoyed the playground while we enjoyed the swing. Anything you could need is found nearby. Thanks for the visit Dona & Mike! Joe Hicks, IN
Lovely place. Extremely clean. Donna is extremely easy to work with. Can’t wait to go back! Ame Lumpkins, KY

Lost Lodge has been around since the 1960’s. The ambiance of the wooded setting and the beauty of Pittman Creek sold us - we bought the Resort in June of 2000 and worked hard to build a fun and unique place to stay! We are about as laid back as you can get and the best part of owning a resort is meeting all the new guests.
