Ready for a Kentucky outdoor adventure? Our Cabin on Cumberland is perched on a hill - northwestern part of Lake Cumberland. If being on the water is going to part of your Kentucky cabin time, you’ll be happy to know the boat ramp is less than 1/8 mile away. Bring your boat or ask us about area rentals - Ski, fish, visit 9 marinas, or just find a quiet cove and float the afternoon away. You might want to pack all your fishing gear: Lake Cumberland is home to trophy stripers and holds state records for brown and rainbow trout - catch walleye and Smallmouth Bass.
Bring your favorite meals and dive in to the all-electric kitchen with professional cookware. If you can’t leave the wired world behind, bring your favorite electronics and use the cabins WIFI - or you can use our PC. No television reception or cable, but as we all know, the internet is full of entertainment.
Sleeping arrangement: Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms (Queen beds) and a Loft with a Futon. Plus a main level full bath with tub & shower combination and a 1/2 bath on the upper level.
Great cabin location overlooking Caney Creek and just 12 miles from Russell Springs, Kentucky. This “creek” is longer & wider than many lakes in northern Indiana. And the beautiful lush foliage surrounding our Lake Cumberland cabin is truly amazing.
Relax and enjoy the sights and sunsets over the lake from 2 decks attached to the cabin! The larger main level has a table and 6 chairs. The more quiet lower deck has a swing. A third deck beside the house is where you’ll grill up the days catch! Use the charcoal BBQ grill and eat at the 8’ picnic table. ALL have views of Cumberland’s sparkling water.
A vacation on Lake Cumberland is just an inquiry away!
Gather around the fire pit every evening and plan the next day’s adventures. Maybe go horseback riding or venture into a National parks. This Lake Cumberland cabin sits in a small rural neighborhood but is still close to necessities like gas, groceries, and restaurants.

We are wrapping up our stay and wanted to let u know we had a wonderful time! The cabin was great!! Thanks again and we will love to rent your house again in the future! Paula J.
Had a great time. The cabin was excellent. We are wanting to rent it again next summer. It was furnished with everything we needed. Really hated to leave. It was very relaxing. Peggy V.
We LOVE it here!! Your place is beautiful and well thought out. There isn't one thing we need that you haven't thought of to include (except for an ice cream scooper!). Haha :-) The view is amazing and we're having such a relaxing stay, which is just what we needed. Mammoth Cave Tour was one of our first activities and it was awesome!!! Then attached is a picture of our second highlight of the trip!!(Morel Mushroom) Today we're going to look into renting a boat and doing a little fishing and sightseeing from the water. Andrea F.
This truly was an amazing cabin! Super convenient boat ramp and ample boat parking in front. The cabin overlooks the beautiful Caney Fork, and is convenient by boat to both Wolf Creek and Jamestown/State Dock Marina areas. Easy drive in and out of Russell Springs for all your shopping needs. The cabin was clean, beautifully furnished, with great kitchen (no dishwasher but a washer
and dryer). A great relaxing stay for the family with plenty of space. Highly Recommend! Tom S.
Was very happy with the home as advertised. Everything we thought it would be and more,. Easy access to boat ramp and many of the "little" things were thought of ( A cup of pencils/pens by the computer.) Very clean and maintained to the point you feel like you're at home. Would feel confident to recommend to any of
our friends without hesitation. Owners were very easy to work with and accommodating. Granddaughters thought this place was just Perfect. Plan to spend more time next summer. Richard H.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was exceptionally clean so much so that I/we felt comfortable walking around with no shoes and socks (which we never do at cabins.) The easy accessibility to a ramp and right into a beautiful cove was a huge plus. Also, we didn't miss the TV. We brought a couple of movies to watch but really enjoyed to quiet time. Having a computer with internet was another great amenity. We were able to check the forecast with up-to-date radar that made boating that much more enjoyable. Our stay was so nice, we have planned another in July of this year. Thanks again for your hospitality. Don & Kim, Ohio
